The latter resulting in the former?
Trying to order the free MMU2S upgrade for hours now.. 😥
Re: Wow, slow
❗ The vouchers for the 'S' upgrades have gone out to everyone and so many are trying to place orders at once it is overloading the servers, it is being worked on as quickly as possible. For now I would suggest trying to wait if you can bare it and take the pressure off for a while... ❗
Re: Wow, slow
It took 2 1/2 hours and 3 tries, but my order finally went through. Now the wait begins
Re: Wow, slow
Voucher?
I love vouchers. What's the skinny?
How do I get mine?
Why are some getting vouchers?

To quote from the Prusa Blog entry: https://www.prusaprinters.org/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-and-mmu2s-release-sl1-and-powder-coated-sheets-update/
If your MK3 printer has been shipped in the last two weeks (from January 28th onwards)*, we will automatically send you the voucher for the upgrade [to MK3S] for free during this week. You don’t need to contact our support team about that. These upgrades will have the printed parts printed by us.
and:
Before I even start about MMU2S, I have to tell you, that every current owner of MMU2 will be getting the upgrade to the MMU2S (self-printed parts for the extruder upgrade) for free no matter where in the world you are. If you want to receive factory-printed plastic parts for the new extruder with the upgrade, you can get them for 20 USD extra.
Everyone will receive a voucher for MMU2S upgrade with free shipping by the end of this week and all already placed orders will be automatically switched to MMU2S. No need to contact support, we will process all of these through our system. With such a cutting edge product, it is very important for us that everyone is happy.
Re: Wow, slow
I wonder if my regular order will be processed in the order it was received with all the other orders, or if it's priority will be bumped to services the vouchers first. (I placed my order on the 13, 5 days ago.)
I'm fine with either, I'm no no hurry to tear my printer apart yet... Though it could probably benefit from a service tear-down to clean and lubricate the linear bearings eventually.
Edit: my order is for with the printed parts. It started by saying 2-week lead time. I'm fine with that, they have a lot of parts to print for the lazy ones like me. (Well, not lazy, but too busy printing other things to tie up the printer for the upgrade.)

Re: Wow, slow
I placed a non-voucher order the day the option was available on the site. It was shipped today - that's one of the 'print-it-yourself' kits.
