Where's PrusaPrinters.org????  

RE: no links between forums and printables

I went to look at the "new" printables and noticed there is no link to it at the top of the forums anymore. Actually, all ,the Prusa links (blog, etc.) are missing, but they are present in printables, except for link to forums. It looks like this is the next step in PR cutting ties with the forums. What is the next step? Removing all forum links on Prusa3d?

Actually there are no links between the forums and anything!   😮  Even prusa3d.com has lost the direct forum link.

Can anyone advise where the best place to give direct feedback re: a couple of small glitches I've found in PrusaPrinters.org is?    Surely a public forum is not the appropriate place?

have you considered email? 

Most printer or slicer changes would be discussed on the relevant Github page, but I don't think PrusaPrinters.org, has a github

Hi Joan, yes I have but I don't believe there is an email address for @printablescom (nor for prusaprinters.org as it was).

I did pass on my feedback this afternoon via support chat (after asking if that was OK) - and they will pass on my concerns to the right people.   
I also contacted @MikolasZuza via message, but I really don't want to interrupt those guys who really have much better things to do I'm sure!

You may have noticed I did outline one of the glitches on another thread here - but it very quickly got lost under some irrelevant "noise"!

Prusa3d.com still has a link to forum under community....So far. 🙂

Hi printables.com team,

after having had an overall great experience in moving my designs over from thingiverse a while ago, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your recent improvements. printables.org is a great choice for a more neutral site name, and "models" is a much less confusing term than "prints" (or even "things" 🙂 ).

So, while I think that printables is by far the superior site, there is only one thing I really miss from thingiverse. I'm talking about the dashboard, which will not only inform me about new likes, collects and makes, but also exhibit which users liked, collected and made my designs. So it's not only a simple counter, but a great way to learn about and get into contact with users who share similar interests or who are doing similar work. Personally, I find such an element of social contact much more rewarding than a (surely nice) reward system driven by algorithms. Oh, and while I'm at it, the ability to follow keyword tags and the statistics were great thingiverse features, too, at least when they were actually working.

So I wonder if you have any plans to add a similar features, particular similar to the thingiverse dashboard. I think it would greatly help make printables.com a less anonymous place.

I'm wondering whether you have any intentions to provide features that are similar to, in particular, the thingiverse dashboard. It would certainly make Printables.com feel less anonymous, in my opinion.

there is a link to get to this forum from printables, just takes a few steps

1. https://www.printables.com/
2. scroll to the bottom of the page, click on 'about us'
3. from there you can click on 'Community' from the top nav bar, and 'Prusa Forum'

to get back, at the bottom of most pages here there is a link to 'Printables - 3D Models'
