What do we do when the filament is running out?
Hi, I am going to run out of filament soon. Only a few turns left on the roll. Am I supposed to change to a new roll now or wait until it runs out? On the Prusa i3 MK3s, is there a filament running out sensor to prompt the user to replace a filament roll? If I change the filament in the middle of the print, will the appearance be affected?

It should stop and prompt you to change filament.
You can do it preemptively by pausing the print, unloading, and loading the new spool.
When I've done it, the change is visible but not too bad. Just be sure the new spool is the same type and brand if possible.
