what do people do for the end of roll curl?

ive seen it with a few filaments. the end has a crazy curl like its wound too tight or too warm when rolled.

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

I agree it is annoying. The tight curvature stays with the filament making it more likely to break.

One solution would be to create some spool holders with a large center hub. Transfer your filament to the modified spool after using half of the original roll.

Maybe it is easier to just give up on the last 10% and toss it.

The filament run-out sensor should catch it, if filament breaks 😉

It should be possible to relax the curl by heating the filament slightly to soften it; you'd have to find a temperature that lets this happen without affecting the dimensions though.
