What are the best engineering filaments available in 2025? High bending and impact strength, easy to print?

What are the best engineering filaments available in 2025? High bending and impact strength, easy to print?

Hi, I use my MK4 solely for the purpose of testing mechanical parts that I designed for consumer goods that are later meant to be mass-produced by injection-molding (often PA-GF30 = Nylon with 30% glass fibre or similar). Usually I only print in black colour.

So, what are currently the best (both new and well-known) engineering filaments available in 2025? I am looking for maximum bending strength, maximum impact strength, reliable clean precise printing results, no toxic emissions while printing, no smell. I have an ObXidian nozzle so I am ok with GF or CF materials, but to be honest, I would love to find a material that is reasonably strong without fibres as I imagine even the ObXidian will be worn out after a while if GF/CF-filled filament becomes my everyday material.

Personally I have printed a lot with Polymaker CoPA and PA6-CF in the past, but I am a bit annoyed by the constant need for drying, so I have reverted to PETG in recent times, but I am not overly happy with the bending strength and overall mechanical properties, even though it's not too bad to be honest. Would love to hear from those who have tested some of the current new filaments on the market and found a new favourite for engineering parts!

If we are talking PETG specifically, what is mechanically the BEST amongst them?

Not exactly what you asked, but if you haven't yet, check My Tech Fun youtube channel, he tests lots of filaments.
