** WARNING ** Web Shop processing CZK as USD!
I just tried to purchase a "Prusa I3 MK3 Printer Kit" using PAYPAL for CZK16,521 but it was processed as USD16,521. This is 20+ times too much. I've spent the last few hours with David from Prusa Support in a Live Chat (thanks for your help) and also PAYPAL trying to get to the bottom of it. We ended up trying a 2nd Transaction but it was the same thing. I've now been charged USD$32,000 in trying to get 1 x "Prusa I3 MK3 Printer Kit" for the black friday free shipping sale.
While I am confident in Prusa to issue a timely refund, the feedback from PAYPAL, is the Prusa Web Developers need to fix 2 things:
1) Wrong Currency information was sent to PAYPAL (eg the nominal amount was correct but it was sent as a USD not CZK currency)
2) The PAYPAL confirmation screen has been disabled / not enabled, so when paying with PAYPAL you can not review the proposed transaction when in the PAYPAL payment screen.
I'm an optimist - so I presume it will all workout but USD$32,000 is A LOT of $$$

You must have a platinum credit card. To get $32k USD approved in two transactions is a lot. 😎

I'm waiting for a call from AMEX asking what the (*#&! is going one. I'm hoping that Prusa reverse the transaction ASAP.

- Refund for the over-payment will happen today 🙂
- The bug on the website has been fixed (note: I've no way able to verify this)

Thanks - kinda scared me dropping USD$33,000 on a USD$750 printer... but thanks for the quick action! I'll let you know if there is anything that looks odd from my account with the credit or any other costs.

All fixed! Reordered (in Euro this time!) and it was fine though the PAYPAL Review screen still is not active (so you can't see and confirm the amount being charged).

there is also an issue in webshop with shipping charges, at least for me. Honestly dont know what they are doing. I can throw 10 spools of fillament and have normal shipping rates. As I wanted also to order precut PTFE tube shipping goes to 70 EUR, and only 1 shipping option available from previous 4. Hmmm maybe PTFE tube is like 100 kilos? :), I tried like 10 times to add stuff to my chart, but eventual leave off the PTFE tube and payed normal shipping
Support didn't know what is going on and tried to convince me that this is how shipping is charged. Really?
Double check your figures when checking out. !!!
