ok, i found it
https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/subscriptions/

its kinda hidden
pick on username at top of forum page -> my profile -> subscriptoins, then untick and save

would be nice if the 'Subscribe to this topic' tickbox on each forum page would toggle it off/on, and if you could set default to not subscribe on reply

Put a rule in your email program, to dump all forum replies to spam!

I appreciate that, however if you can't fix getting the emails, then you can fix seeing them in your inbox.

Why do I get opted into a subscription for every topic I post in?

Can we have a button you can set in your profile to avoid this auto opt-in? The constant email for every reply just bungs up my inbox wasting my time clearing it out so I can see stuff I need to deal with. And before you say setup a rule to divert the email, I pay for the disc space so this ends up costing me money so better to deal with it at source!

Other forums I use don't do this.

it is annoying. The spam folder needs to be checked as diligently as the inbox folder because there is the occasional super-important message that goes to spam by accident.

I've been tempted to set up a disposable email address and may still get one. But it's dangerous e.g. getting back in after periods of inactivity.

I think the mods need to pull their finger out as there are buttons to subscribe to everything imaginable but not one to say don't bother subscribing me to anything.

Not treating people fairly in my view.

Hi Inbox,

I never found that option, so I wrote an email rule, to bin the posts automatically

I have written enough code to know that there is a simple true/false setting for default values on any checkbox.

This "bug" literally should take 5 minutes to fix. The fact that subscribe to topic is on by default tells me alot.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to subscribe to every single subject ever just to post one little thought.

Vehemently against AI. I've seen that film. It ends badly.

Hi Joan,

I think Prusa need to have a word with themselves, as Shrap points out this is a 5 minute fix but it seems Prusa expect everyone else to fix their problems for them.

Personally I think they are taking the p*ss.
