selling my 3D-prints

Hello everyone,

At work people see a lot of my creations. Just now a family wanted to buy my prints, but I was not sure about the following thing.

At the moment I created the Pac-Man ghosts and I created the Among-us characters. I was wondering if there is any problem if I sell these prints. I didn't copy anything from somebody and these are sketches completely made by me through Tinkercad.

Can you guys help me out, before I do something stupid 😛

Greetings,

Robbert

I doubt anyone would sue, but they are copyrighted.

RE: selling my 3D-prints

I think the only problem you might have is if you advertised them as "Pac-Man" or "Among-us" as the names are copyright. In all probability you wouldn't have an issue until you were selling them in large quantities, but there is that chance.

As long as it's your own work and you're not "passing them off" as official characters you should be OK. Others here may have specific experience and have a different view.

I would also say that acting on legal advice from a random (not legally trained) person (like me!) on the Internet should really be considered a mistake 😀
