Pushbutton on controller not working
The pushbutton (PB) on my 1 yr old MK3 has become very flakey. The rotary portion works fine, but the PB has almost quit triggering anything. It make 10 pushes to make it activate the menu selection.
The clicking sound is there, so I am wondering if the problem is in the mechanical switch, or if there is anything in the software that can cause this problem. If it is the switch, I presume a simple replacement will do the trick.

Try to clean it up first. Remove the plastic part and use some air flow. Usually very small piece of plastic blocks the button.

You could also check the screws that hold the LCD into the surround. One could be loose allowing the board to flex when you push the button.
