Problem with Infill and some numbers

Hello everyone,

i want to print a plate with some numbers on it. Now i have the probem that the software doesn't put a layer underneath those numbers, so that it prints in the air.

Does anybody know if there is a setting or a solution for it?

Thanks to everybody.

RE: Problem with Infill and some numbers

Firstly you haven't stated what version of the software you are using.  Different versions have different capabilities and also different bugs/issues.  2.8 for example has more issues than most earlier versions.

Secondly without seeing all your settings as well as the model then its very difficult to diagnose issues.  The single best way to help us to help you is for you to save your Prusa Slicer project file.  File>Save Project As.  That will save a PS 3mf file that contains the models but also all the settings of the 3 profiles you are currently using.  Take that 3mf and ZIP it up.  If you don't zip it then the forum will not attach anything.

With the project we can look and try and give you better more useful help.

Hi Lukas,

Have a look at the attached .3mf file (It's zipped so the forum will attach it)

Check if your software has an option for adding supports or enabling 'raft' or 'brim' settings. These can create a base layer under the numbers to prevent printing in mid-air
