RE: Printables.com Support and Forum

Many of the models on printables consist of a handful of parts.  Some of my models such as the Apollo LUT consist of over 5,600 parts.  It is a challenge to organize so many parts.  After adding hundreds of parts to one printables model the printables model broke and I was no longer able to update it so I created a new model and decided to break the model up into manageable sections.  This one model consists of 32 separate printables models.  I am working on the space shuttle launcher and that will break out into about 18 models.  If I continue the project and add the FSS and RSS we are talking about probably 6,000 to 7,000 parts another 20 models or so.  That is why it would be nice to group the printables models into one single model group.

RE:

You cannot just create collections of models from other users. You can create collections of your own models. And those can be seen by other users as your collections as a group.

Printables just stopped allowing me to change a model from Draft to PUBLISHED. Another user started a post in another forum with same issue. I've published 40 models, so my workflow is not an issue. I even tried a very basic model.. 1 STL, 1 pic.. all mandatory settings. Draft saves fine.. pressing PUBLISH button and PUBLISH NOW shows a published page (without the DRAFT banner), but when refreshing my models, shows the draft site.. Really frustrating that Printables does not have a proper support mechanism.  I just can't imagine how Prusa would create this huge channel and not allow users any mechanism to interact with some type of support.

RE:

someone stole a model I made and is selling it on printables, I’ve reported it several times over the past few weeks but it still hasn’t been removed. Any way I can contact someone at printables? This is very frustrating as I sell these models for a living and this person is profiting off my work

Hi James, your report is being reviewed. We received your email three days ago, so it will take some time to complete the check. Thanks for your patience. The stolen files should be removed immediately.

Printables.com not reachable, blocked by cloudflare

Hi guys,

since a couple of weeks I'm not able to open "printables.com". There always comes a message from cloudflare "Sorry you have been blocked".
I tried it with firefox, edge and chrome. I also tried it with VPN on and off. It is allways the same. uBlock origins is deactivated for printables.com.
There is no other site I use that make that trouble.

I understand that we need safety in the internet. But the behaviour of the cloudflare-Software is really rubbish and less helpfull.

Does anybody have an idea what to do?

Thanks for help
Frank

RE:

Talk to your ISP and ask them to investigate what's wrong.
They should be able to talk to CloudFlare to unblock your IP.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Just noticed that the numbers of downloads, views etc on the analytics page don't match the numbers shown when you view a model. Is that a known thing?

Yes, they lag behind for few hours, probably they are truncated to the beginning of the current day.

I don't know if it's a bug, or just that it's now July, but my "Login in 20 days in 30 day period" was stuck on 14 for the last 3 or 4 days, despite logging in daily. Lol. I am at 15, right now, but I was at 15 several days ago.
