Overture Matte PLA
Tempted by huge Black Friday discounts at Amazon, I purchased a couple of spools of Overture Matte PLA.
I haven’t used this brand before, so my question to people with previous experience is if default settings for Prusament PLA are good enough or do you suggest any significant changes on temperatures, retractions, etc..
Cheers.
RE: Overture Matte PLA
I go through a couple of spools of Overture Matte Black PLA each month and use the Overture PLA profile that comes with Prusaslicer with no issues.

Thanks for the info. I missed the fact that Prusa Slicer has already a profile for this filament. Looking at those settings, they seem to be practically the same that any other PLA supported by PS. No surprises here.
RE: Overture Matte PLA
Yes. Many profiles are essentially the Generic profiles. Calling it "Brand x" I see mostly as a stamp of approval that the generic settings will work.

RE:
I printed several parts using my Prusament PLA settings and everything went fine,
Only difference being that this Overture PLA matte seems to have much stronger adhesion to the smooth plate than Prusament or other brands, because I had real trouble removing some pieces from the bed. The same models made with other PLA filaments get loose simply bending the plate. Probably I will raise 15 or 20 microns the Z of the first layer when printing this filament again on the smooth plate, or I’ll use the satin plate instead.
RE: Overture Matte PLA
I have one like that, Extrudr NX pla sticks way more than others. I dropped the bed temp down to 50 degrees in my profile which helps.
