RE: Open source for 3D models

I have to say I'm impressed by Prusa adding a significant bunch of Mechanical Design data to the MINI mechanical repository, probably following this issue: Prusa Mini Open Source Design.

Additionally to STL and STEP 3d representations, there are now components in native Inventor format, BOM with linked 2D-Drawings including relevant specifications and tolerances.

Here's the release note:

Documentation, BOM and source code added.

BOM
Bill of materials

DOCUMENTATION

ELECTRONICS
all electronic components for the printer
datasheets
links to other repositories
MECHANICAL PARTS
drawings of mechanical parts
PRINT SETTINGS
recommended print settings for printed parts ( Original Prusa MINI and Original Prusa MK3S )
SOURCE

MECHANICAL PARTS
source code for all custom mechanical parts of the printer
PRINTED PARTS
source code for all printed parts

Massive thumbs up to Prusa!
