No Power to Heat Bed

I have MK2.5s and it has lost power to the heat bead.

  • All connections tight
  • All cables checked - no damage.
  • Connections to Rambo board are tight and secure.
  • Voltage to Hot end is 12 volts
  • Voltage to heat bed is 3.4 volts

I detached heat bed power cables from Rambo Board and checked the poles inside the connector -  3.4 volts

I detached the heat bed power cables and tested the poles inside its Rambo attachment. -  12 volts.

Prusa tech chat says Rambo Board needs replacing.    Prusa doesn’t have one, and their supplier in the US doesn’t have one.   Does anyone out there have any ideas or suggestions ?

Did you check all of the fuses?

Yes, all fuses are fine.

RE:

I would check the internal resistance of the heating bed. The value should be around 1 Ohm (12V). If the resistance deviates significantly, the heating bed may be defective.
