New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
Hello all;
So with the end of 2021 approaching us real soon and 2022 coming along very fast. What are some of your plans for 2022? What sort of new projects, adventures or endeavors are you planning for either the upcoming new year, or for those who celebrate, the upcoming Chinese new year? What are you guys looking forward to? Any projects in the works? New skills on the learning block you want to develop?
As you know, I did collect some feedback a few times on the forums and ways to improve the experience for everyone involved here, and with the new year, those changes will be gradually roll out to make the forum the best experience for its members. As far as other things that might be coming from the company.... That I can't comment on. One thing about me, if I don't ask about things, then I don't know and I can honestly tell people that I do not know 🙂
So what are you plans for 2022?

RE: New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
I'm most excited to work on or with an e3D Revo Micro printhead for the Prusa Mini.
RE: New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
My main goal is (if nothing serious comes in between), to finally upgrade my workshop. I have already bough some additional (electric) tools late this year and during winter I can plan how to setup all that in spring -my workshop looks like a junkyard right now 🤪 .
Having a 3D printer, I already started designing some stuff that will help me to organize/store small tools in a nice practical way. Being at that, I hope Prusa will have enough PETG on stock when the time comes 😉 .

Keep printing with the Mini, build a Voron Trident.

Put a Revo Micro on my mini and start sourcing parts for a delta build.

You didn't happen to grow up watching "Hogan's heroes" did you? 😉

Very happy of this, looking forward.

1. Conquer the MMU2S and soluble supports. Assembled but unable to get it to print so far. I think I am approaching the point where some folks give up but I aint giving up.
2. Push structural and artistic design constraints with the SL1S.

Basically the same!
RE: New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
An update: my MMU is now WORKING. I can hardly believe it.

Continue to build my commercial design portfolio & start working on the marketing side. I need to see what people will actually buy.
Whatever you find to do with your hands, do with all your might!

A resin printer ... maybe. It is my last temptation. It could be an SL1s or maybe wait a couple of months for the idea to mature.
Sorry for my poor English. I try to do my best.
RE: New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
I bought my 3D printer to support my other interests. Now that I've spent 4 years obsessing about 3D printers and have acquired 3 of them, I hope to use my 3D printer to support my other interests.

LOL, so I have years of obsessing over printers ahead of me before actually using them?

Well, you're here on this forum, aren't you? It's a slippery slope. 😉

Hi everyone. I am new at this forums. Thanks for interesting discussions.

Working with auto-rewinding spools right now to make the MMU2S setup more streamlined. Also creating simple custom bookmarks for fun.

Hello, I am a researcher and getting information about what is the scope of o-level in Pakistan as compared to others.
RE: New year, new resolutions, new plans, new stuff
My plan for the rest of 2022 is to avoid the ADHD approach to printing and design. I am going to focus on a single project and finish each before moving to the next.
