Marks on print bed

I have had a Prusa mini for a few months now with no issues but when I loaded a new reel of Prusament Royal Blue PLA, I started to get these weird marks appear on the bed. They follow exactly where the prints contact the bed. I thought they would go away after cleaning with IPA but they are still there. Even flipping the bed and letting the heat to it doesn't fix it.

I am using the Spring Steel Sheet With Smooth Double-sided PEI and I haven't changed anything for the Gcode or the distance to the bed. I haven't used Prusament Royal Blue PLA before so it could just be a feature of the Filament.

Is this something that people have seen before and does it go away? Could this cause further damage to the bed?

I have been printing a bit more with it and it is still getting worse. I have even swapped to Prusament Jet Black PLA with the same results.

Could this be a coating that has been worn away?

Don´t worry - that is absolutely normal and happens on all of my printers on the smoot PEI-sheet.

I'm looking right now at one of my older smooth sheets, and it has 'ghosts' of many previous prints.  It seems to be more pronounced when a release agent, such as a glue stick, is used.  In the photo below, the ring is the contact surface of the draft shield that I had just pulled off.  This was the PC Blend, and the glue stick as a release agent is highly recommended.  It fades upon cleaning and use, but this is still visible after several days.

I have the same problem but only when using Prusament Royal Blue, next to that i also see the same ghost mark on my prints itself. Is that also normal? Is there a way to clean it?

If you're really worried about this and are feeling a bit adventuresome, hit the sheet with a splash of acetone. I've been surprised how much old embedded filament and other crud it can strip away. Don't to this often as it can eventually make the PEI brittle, but it's great to remove crud that won't wash away with Dawn or isopropyl alcohol.

I'm not really worried as the prints come out ok, just wondering if anyone else experiences this. But i will try the acetone, already tried water + soap and 99% isopropyl.

Got exactly the same thing going on a prusa mini starting from the first print.
Every single of my prints coming of the smooth PEI sheet get a nice engraving of that initial benchy plus whatever prints came afterwards.

Long live the Benchy!

Tried cleaning it with aceton next to 99% isopropol and water+soap, the ghost images do not dissapear. After a few more prints the ghost images get worse actually, i also notice the fillament not sticking as good on those places and it leaves a considerable mark on my prints up until the point where you can actually feel it. How can i fix/clean this?
