Laser cutter/engraver mod?
Does anyone know if it is possible to mod a prusa printer to be a laser cutter or engraver? like if you could tape a laser onto the hotend and use that to engrave things?

please follow all the safety advice and do at your own risk. I must emit I picked up a 2500mw laser to do this with but haven’t gotten around to doing it yet.

There are special glasses that you can use that block the laser frequency. They are a must have if you turn on that laser in the same room. The light coming off a 1w laser will blind you instantly. And your vision doesn't come back.
I recommend you buy the laser from a source that has matching glasses (not all lasers and glasses work together - they must be matched).
Seriously - know the safety protocols before flipping the switch.
