Keeping the Filament in the Printer-Enclosure
I just got a Prusa Mini and want to build the Ikea-Lack Enclosure for it. Since there is a lot of spare space with the Mini, I want to place the Filamentspool inside the box. Can I do that, or is the increased heat bad for its quality (e.g. diameter consistency).
I am using Prusament PLA.
Thanks a lot in advance.

For the Mini you do not need an enclosure. PLA is sensitive to heat accumulation, which can lead to blockages due to softening of the filament. A problem that was discussed very often here in the forum.
Printing PLA -> however, if you still want to use an enclosure because of the smells and some noise it produces, you must make sure that it is well ventilated.
Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.
