install alpha version for win64
I've just dl'd the latest (1.42.0-alpha4) alpha release, and would like to try it. However, before I jump off the cliff, I have a couple of questions.
What's the proper way to install the release? It appears to be just files and folders, not an install file, so do I just replace the corresponding files/folders for my current 1.41.2+win64 install, or is there something else that needs to be done for my Win10 x64 system.
If I don't like the alpha and want to go back to the 'normal' version, how is that accomplished?

The best thing to do with Alpha and Beta software is to run it in parallel to the stable Production release.
What that means for the current Alpha is to extract all the files from the .ZIP to a new folder (anywhere in your download or document folder in WIN10) and either make a desktop shortcut to the slic3r.exe file in the extracted folder or run the programme by double clicking on that file in explorer.
The Alpha is already configured to store its settings separately from the production settings which does mean you will need to import any special/personal profiles you use in the production version into the Alpha.

Thanks! That sounds like a great idea. I just got my MK3, so I really don't have much in the way of customizations to worry about.
