Incoming thingiverse.com user, troubles importing designs on new printables.com website
Hello, I've been posting designs on thingiverse.com for a number of years and decided to give the Prusa/Printables site a try instead. There's a feature to import designs from thingiverse.com, but so far the verification step always fails. There's a field where you enter your thingiverse.com page and you're supposed to log into both sites, which I've done. Sadly, the verification fail message doesn't provide any useful diagnostic information.
I realize that longtime Prusa site users may not know (or care) about this issue, but I'm hoping someone may offer a clue (hopefully new users coming in isn't viewed as being overrun by the unwashed masses! :^)
It's conceivable that Makerbot might've changed some minor API detail (either as an improvement or in an attempt to slow down the migration of content). Also, I might've missed some basic detail -- completely possible, but I don't think so. It's not that complicated of a process and I've seen it work in several YouTube videos.

I got an answer on reddit and it turns out this was a user error: I failed to do step 3, which is to paste my printables.com link into my thingiverse.com profile/bio. I guess this is a way of validating that I own the account, otherwise you could pull in anyone's content. The import hasn't completed, but at least I got past the validation error.

The Printables import page says you can post the link to printables in your Bio OR Website, but just posting the Printables link in Website just stalls the import at the linking accounts message. Once I added the Printables link to Bio, it worked almost immediately.

I am currently having issues importing form Thingiverse as that have done away with the about and I have added the link to both the bio and website but stalls verifying account

Had the same last weekend. I was confused but after some time i changed to my profile page and a message occured that my connection has been verified. 😮
When i returned to the import page all my tv models have been listed.
Not very helpful comment, i guess, but i think stalled on the page doesn't mean it doesn't work in the background.
