Thank you.
You have encouraged me and helped me with your technical expertise and assistance debugging many small and varied issues. And given me insight and helped in my decision making process. You have inspired me and showed me that 3D printing is both technical and an art form.

Without you guys, I may have descended into the abyss of negativism in some of the MMU2S posts and some of the side nonsense. You keep me sane.

Indeed. The community is a big part of the reason that I picked the MK3 as my first printer. I've learned so much by reading varied posts and also through direct help. Definitely a good community we've got here.

You're very welcome! There's a great group here, and it's refreshing to see people genuinely pitching in to help others out. It's taken me a while to figure out a 3D printer is a symphony of mechanisms that must work in harmony, and that I'm still playing the bongo drums.

Truth be told, it was Bob that first helped me through the first dark patch that is 3D FDM printing. Without his help I'd be long past this hobby.

I just went back through my post history -- so glad it survived the forum transition -- and it's hard to believe it's a little less than 16 months since that big black box arrived on my doorstep. I learned a lot from @joantabb (dish soap and water!), @martin-w15, @PJR and @nikolai-r in those months, but I also learn a lot from bouncing ideas off everybody and working through all the little problems we encounter. This is a great community and one of the best parts of the Prusa experience. Thanks everybody.

Fear not. You were the Joan I was reffering to. Your level head in trying posts is most refreshing. And to top it off you are British. 😉
I may need more assistance when assembling and getting my MMU2S to work properly. I am very attentive to details, (though somehow I missed getting my filament out sensor to work on the first go around). I will go slowly and see how much I have learned from the supportive posts on the MMU2 and all of the standards you all have set for classical hardware debugging skills. At this point the software is assumed (BIG assumption), to work well enough for a start. So all I have to do is execute the hardware build, testing, and debugging correctly to get at least a few good test prints under my belt.
I have to admit that mostly on my own I did build the i3 MK3S and get it working for a time without much hand holding, (in march 2019). But I did have to REALLY read the manual and most of the comments on the more technical assembly tricks. My debugging time was a staggering 2 hours at the end of assembly to try to get my first 20 or so prints to work flawlessly. So I believe I understand the concepts quite well. That and having a few years working at a robotics company and a manufacturer with a prototyping printer behind me, certainly didn't hurt.
Again thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am happy to be here and happy to help in any way I can.

after 31st October, being British may become a disadvantage with all of the Brexit issues that are going on... I may have to revert to being a Scouser... ( Inhabitant of Liverpool) in preference to being British! 😀 .
we will have to see... Boris Johnson as prime minister, bothers me!...
maybe it's my lack of education...

I sincerely doubt that your education was at fault. You seem to have a lot more on the ball than most. I wouldn't worry about being Liverpudlian vs being British. 😉
As all things go, one no confidence vote and the Prime Minister is history. Political parties being what they are in Brittan.

Fear not Joan. You live in Halifax in gods own county, Yorkshire. (My favourite county to visit on Holiday after Scottish Highlands.) Do not believe in the fear mongering. The UK will survive and thrive. Boris is not the problem but maybe the solution. Wait and see. Life will go on and 3D printing.

I am proud to be British and a member of GB and the UK < ------ despite some politicians . Within the EU rules we have to have a GB license plate on our cars not UK plate.

Maybe we should stick to 3D printing. Politics is a dirty business and full of many bugs, ( AKA Poly Ticks). LOL
