3D Scanner Recommendations
For those that have 3D scanners can you please share what types are good to get? My main purpose for getting one is to 3D scan objects from walking around them. The reason for this is because I hear this is the best way to capture data, rather than to put the object on a turn table.
I'm aware of APPS for mobile devices, but there are so many and I don't know which would be best for how I want to use it.

I will say i've had good luck with an Xbox One Kinect scanner. I tried Photogrammetry, and it works, but its VERY dependent on quality of camera, lighting, texture of object, etc. When it works, it's amazing, but I only got it to work about 1/3rd of the time. It's probably the cheapest though as virtually everyone has a camera somewhere.
