Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
Superbe, grandiose, génial, i love it, amazing ...
At 220% no problem ? for a big bone you split in two parts, how much ?
Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
I did not have to split any of the parts. One of the pieces I cut off part of the clip that would slide inside the other part but since I was gluing it I did not care, I just put extra glue into that hole where the clip goes into to make sure I had a strong joint. The Post I had to print it diagonally.
The 220% T-Rex is about 52 inches (132cm) Long and about 20 inches (51cm) Tall.
Had it on display at my Library's Make Space for a few weeks.

Let us know when you print one life-size... 😀
That's "MISTER Old Fart" to you!
Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
They are amazing. Do you recall the total print times for each version?

Sorry do not really keep track of print time. Most of it was hit print and go to sleep or print and head to work.
Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
Well done, both the print and your photos.
What filament and color did you use? The color in the photos actually looks like bone.

Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
did you have to cut som of the big parts i half and print separately (then glue them together) ? or did you just scale up to 220%?
i plan on printing this myself and want it as big as possible:)

Re: T-Rex @ 110% and 220%
I printed this at 175% (and the Stegosaurus at 170% ) a couple of years ago on the Mk1, with a smaller bed.
Only problem is that the vertical support needs a metal insert (straightened wire coat hanger) as it starts to bend after a few hours display in the sun 🙁
