Those could easily pass for the real thing in photos.

If only the current full size ones wouldn't have that ugly oversized gigantic kidney...

Hey? May I ask what you used, did, whatever for those chrome pieces? Paint? Primer? Prep? Post? They look great!
RE: 1/10 rc car body
I used Molotow Chrome refill with my airbrush. I prepped the parts like all others, sanding, filling, sanding. Then i applied the blue base color (automotive glossy blue, color doesnt matter). After that i used a nail polish block to polish the bumpers before applying the chrome paint. You have to spray it pretty thick onto the part compared to normal airbrush paint.

I painted the vintage style rims silver and put some "glass" onto the car. For the windows i used clear plastic from packages of some electronic products.

Thx.
I've struggled with trying to get a nice metallic sheen (LOL without laborious busy work like tedious sanding and such) on 3d printed parts.
I've found some good metallic spray paints that give a real good looking finish but never thoroughly dry or cure even with a good plastic primer and nail polish drying spray and even stuff like a coat of dusting powder.
