Help with Surgical Mask Tension Release Band
I have a friend who is an ER nurse in Ocala FL. I've been looking for local printers in the Florida area who would be willing to help print tension release bands. I found someone on Reddit who is based in the UK who suggested I come here to find help. I am more than happy to pay for any supplies, shipping, and time needed. I just want to try and help her and the other nurses and doctors out.

I suggest signing up for the Masks for Docs Slack channel. There you can find local and regional resources for 3D printed and fabricated PPE, including contributing or requesting materials. There are sub-groups for each geographic area.

I found some 3/4" 10 yard (2 each - 5 yard black/white) buttonhole knit stretch elastic bands on Amazon for $9.99. I ordered on April 5th and have not gotten them yet. There were others of different widths also. You may look there.

I started this for my area, but have had minimal success in generating members.......it doesn't have the "buzz" that face shields have. https://www.prusaprinters.org/group/midwest-printers-omaha-KRnPPQE
While I don't have the resources to print for multiple cities, you are more than welcome to copy/paste anything off my page, or use my gcodes from the design page linked. So far we're up to almost 750 donated in the metro area, and have made sure our county retirement/health center has one for every resident and staff member on hand.
