Serial number in PrusaConnect incorrect
I just got off the chat with Prusa support on an issue with my XL. They asked me for my serial number, so with my printer against a wall and the serial number on the back I thought, hey, let's just grab it from PrusaConnect. Alas, it turned out the serial number showing in PrusaConnect has no resemblance to the one on the printer's sticker ☹️

Id say wrong mother board put in wrong printer because the mother board store serial number

The serial number format showing in Prusa Connect is totally different from the format on the label so it's not simply a matter of a wrong number. The Prusa rep immediately said that's not a serial number.

Thanks for the heads up. When mine arrives I will photograph the back before installing - it's going to be too heavy for casual manhandling.

Great idea! Most of the time I spent on the chat was me trying to get a phone behind the printer to take a picture of the serial number...

Yep, they separated the printer S/N from the motherboard one. It's good because when you get a new mobo, the printer S/N stays the same. But yea, that means we cannot get the printer S/N easily

That makes sense. But maybe the text in PrusaConnect should be changed to "Motherboard S/N", to keep others from being as confused as I was.
