PrusaSlicer uploading to PrusaConnect - Error uploading to print host [error 56]
- PrusaLink type: Mk4
- PrusaLink version: Latest
- Printer type: MK4
- Printer UUID: Did not find the printer detail page
- Printer firmware version: 4.7.2
- PrusaSlicer version 2.6.0
I sliced a file successfully and tried to use the Send to Printer button to upload to PrusaConnect. I initially tried Upload and Print, that failed, then I tried Upload and that succeeded with the first print. On the next slice and upload, I again tried both and both failed with the following error. the upload gets to 100% but something fails after the transfer. I should add I can upload no problem through web, and print as well. Double checked the API key
Error uploading to print host:Failure when receiving data from the peer:HTTP/2 stream 1 was reset[Error 56]

PrusaSlicer reload a few times seems to have cleared this up, have had several successful uploads now. Mac OS (Intel based) if that matters
RE: PrusaSlicer uploading to PrusaConnect - Error uploading to print host [error 56]
Hi, glad it started working. I unfortunately don't know what causes the issue. The MK4 is quite limited in upload URL name ~80 characters. And folders eat away from that limit. It probably is not what you're running into, just thought I's share that.
RE:
I had a similar issue with sending to the printer. If the printer has completed a job (LCD panel indicates completed) and you send a second file the file will fail to send. The printer from the LCD panel has to be set to home screen then a file can be sent without error.
RE: PrusaSlicer uploading to PrusaConnect - Error uploading to print host [error 56]
Especially if you are trying to overwrite the file that just finished printing.
We had some stability issues recently, but it could be something else. Could you give us your printer uid or the whole url from the address bar when you're looking at the printer? Thank you
RE: PrusaSlicer uploading to PrusaConnect - Error uploading to print host [error 56]
I have found that these problems occur in my case mainly when connecting via another router using a LAN cable. When connecting over WiFi, it happens less frequently. Also, a VPN doesn't help much.
