PrusaLink and MMU2
Hello,
I found a strange behavior of my Mk3S+:
I have connected my Prusa Mk3S+ via Rasperry Pi to my home network. When I start the Prusa with the MMU2 attached, PrusaLink starts normal on my Prusa, but then I usually get the messages: "Starting PrusaLink ...", then "please wait....." and finally "No LAN access". When I start the Printer with the MMU" disconnected, the printer connects to the network and everything is ok. If I reconnect the MMU2 AFTER the printer has connected to the network and then reset the printer by pushing the "X"-Button on the front display, the printer stay connected to the LAN and the MMU2 is working fine.
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
I suspect that the printer is incredibly noisy amd the pi is real close to the source. So It's wifi is taking a significant reduction in speed as is. Adding the MMU probably will not help. Not sure what to do about it tho. Please send me the log file. You can find it in the local web interface under settings. I want the syslog and maybe even the syslog.1 (older messages are there). Zip them if they don't fit, or send a link. Thanks
Also I was prototyping an rf shield thing for the pi, but i hit a snag and now it's waiting for "someday"
You could try connecting the pi over usb, just make sure you're on the 0.7.0 RC3 available here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Link/releases/tag/0.7.0rc3 the 0.6.1 does not auto scan for USB
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
I had to rename them, to be able to send the file. Just remove the ".pdf" extension.
syslog1^will follow the same way
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
Here iss syslog1
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
I can't see the attachment, maybe let's try google drive or something
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
I could send them by wetransfer, but I need your email-adress for that
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
You should have received a link from wetransfer to download the files
RE: PrusaLink and MMU2
Yup, seems to not be able to find the access point. Well, the solutions listed above should work. If all of it fails, there's the usb otg ethernet adapter route too.
Here are some photos and an assembly video of a thing i tried and failed to make work properly. It did work in improving the interrnet, but I was not confident it would ground reliably enough. https://photos.app.goo.gl/XoFu9D17nvPbCgAq7
