PrusaConnect stops mid print, heating disabled by safety timer error

I am currently running Prusa Connect on the following system:

Original Prusa i3 MK3S/+ (with an RPi zero); Firmware 3.13.2-7080; PrusaLink 0.7.2; Prusa Connect SDK 0.7.1

I just had a print fail 5hrs into a 13hr print, and the error message on the printer reads "heating disabled by safety timer". My best guess as to what is going on is that there was a connection issue between the printer and prusa connect and the printer eventually turned off the heating elements after it stopped receiving instructions. This is the second time this has happened.

Did you by any chance slice and queue any prints during that time?

We have had that issue a few times as well. We have three MK3s/+ that were all running the same gcode, but one of them kept stopping at the same point with the symptoms you described. The only solution was to re-slice and upload a new copy of the gcode.

Sometimes, the vibrations cause the connection through the einsy pins to break up. In my case, it was caused by a cold solder join. Re-did my soldering and it went away. An alternative is to use a USB oth cable to connect the printer over USB.
