Print uploads, printer starts, but stops again.
Hi all,
- Original Prusa i3 MK3S
- firmware: 3.11.0-4955
- PrusaLink: 0.6.1
- PrusaConnect SDK: 0.6.0
- PrusaSlicer: 2.4.2
- Raspberry Pi Zero W
I have an issue with PrusaLink.
The file will upload just fine, but the printer stops eminently. It seems like there is a long pause in between the different commands in the G-code..? See the video below.
What to do?

RE: Print uploads, printer starts, but stops again.
Hi, this looks more like it doesn't move at all after it stops. I know what that is, and it's entirely on me. I have guided some folks here to fix it themselves, but I'm reluctant to release anything easy to use since we're supposed to be really close to releasing a newer version altogether. (been like that for a "bit")
If you're familiar with linux, here is how to fix it. https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/postid/612070/
It's enough to just edit the file in .local
The rest is the other way to do it, edit the one in home/pi, then pip install it, no need to do both 🙂
I hope a new version should finally come out soon, there's been a round of testing on it already

Thanks, Tojik. I'll give it a go 🙂

Can't get it to cooperate. Guess I'll have to go back to Octoprint..
Do you know when there will be a release with a bug fix?
RE: Print uploads, printer starts, but stops again.
Hopefully soon, it's being tested internally, that's usually a good sign.
[Solved]
The issue was solved by using Prusa-Link-0.6.0.
Hope this'll help someone else.
RE: Print uploads, printer starts, but stops again.
We have finally released a new "RC" of the version I was talking about. The issue should be resolved there, but there's been so many changes I'm not sure if it's a good idea to install if you rely on it.
