Wifi Connection Setup
Connecting is relatively simple, now that i got it working. The issue? Apperently $ signs within the password are not allowed. I have choosen a different password and now it works.
RE: Wifi Connection Setup
Connecting you must be joking i for one have wasted over 4 hours messing around tying to get the BUDDY 3D to connect to my network? I have been over every single option that is on the forums IE: Rest, no dark theme, clean webpage install, Guest network, easy password ( no special characters in the password ) When scanning the QR code it keeps beeping 6 times until stop scanning is heard then after a few seconds, 3 more beeps?
Is this a pile of c**p or should i get a replacement/refund Because other cam's work well come on PRUSER SORT IT OUT.
RE: Wifi Connection Setup

It would be helpful if new cameras shipped came with this memo!

RE: Wifi Connection Setup
I think there is a great deal of confusion... It seems there may be 3 (or more) versions of Buddy cameras. The first flavor that I know of looks kinda like a dog or puppy. I think i have a couple of version 2. It seems to me i read about a Buddy camera which is mounted in an enclosure.
Is my observations accurate?
I gave up on the Buddy V2 and am very happy with Wyze cameras. I do not know if they support time‐lapse images.
The Waze cameras are much cheaper than the Buddy cameras. But for my needs I prefer the Wyze. I like the very good night vision, ability to auto track the movements of the printer head and 2-way sound; and the Wyze cameras can be used outside (even in the Oregon rain).
