Doesn't seem like the password special character issue got fixed. Now I cant even connect to my old network. "the snapshot is not available" after successful wifi connection

Yea same problem here, have to use my guest network, because of the special character issues. But the guest network is not available from the rest of my network. I thought maybe i can access the settings of the wifi conection through the app or camera ip address and change the network that way, but no luck.

Just checking out the new features after camera and app updates and seeing the same thing: all the new features are greyed out and I can't enable any of them while on the same network.

I'm about 90% happy with the camera now, compared to 0% happy before this update.
The cherry on the cake (and I know this is wishful thinking) would be:
Expose a 1080p stream also so that Timelapse's of a decent quality are achievable without messing with the SD card. I've got a nice little ffmpeg script that does everything, but obviously the quality isn't great as it's only 720p.
Somehow trigger the Timelapse snapshot on the camera to coincide with layer changes, I know the camera and printer arent directly connected, but surely there's a way.

Does anyone know where to download the firmware directly? I need to update via the microSD card since my camera is still unable to connect to WIFI and is on old firmware.

Did you create any additional teams, other than the one created for you when you first connected to the printer? I had, and found that I only had camera controls when I got rid of the other team, despite it showing me as having full Manage control.

does your WiFi password contain special characters? I had the same issue. The camera (CoreOne camera!) only successfully scans if the WiFi password contains letters and numbers. Yep, it is 2025, I know.

I know that it's more than a week after last reply, but maybe someone is still interested in the topic, i've found a way to use any RTSP camera together with Prusa Connect, simple python script is sending frames every 5 second to Prusa API + additionally every 30 sec it's saving a frame to working directory to make a mp4 timelapse from it, i've already created a repository on GitHub (1st ever) so you can try it out.

no. My password ist just numbers and letters. No special characters.
I tried a lot of things and nothing worked. But then, suddenly, everything worked in the app. I assume there were some server issues / updates in the background. On Prusa Discord there was someone with the same behaviour, so I hope everything works for you guys now too.

Does anyone know if they have the firmware file available for manual download? I have non-functioning one that I would like to install the new firmware on to see if it's able to revive it.

My Prusa camera firmware wasn't updating automatically so I found from another post that the firmware is available from https://connect-ota.prusa3d.com/file/cam-3.1.0.tar (sha1 ddd77001652379c4bffed1d409b6449148caa4b8).
I renamed the file to cus_update_ota.tar, put it on an SD card, powered off the camera, inserted the SD card and powered on the camera and the firmware was updated successfully.

Thanks! That worked! Like, really worked; the camera seems to be working now! I'm glad I never threw it out as I had a hunch. I'll keep an eye on it and hopefully it continues working. Thanks again!
