Uneven X-Axis Belt Tension
Hi,
I'm trying to set the belt tension on the X axis, since I saw a small layer shift on one of my prints. Loosing the screws and rotating the upper and bottom screws on the side on the X axis I cannot achieve the same amount of tension on the upper part compared to the under part of the belt. I I set the tension of the upper screw tighter, then the lower part of the belt gets tighter too, so I always end with a looser upper part of the belt.
Is this normal?
Thanks

How are you measuring tension?
If you are pinging the belts, then you will ALWAYS get different tones, because the span of the upper belt is longer than the span of the lower belt. so the lower belt will always sound a higher tone
