Prusa Mini+ stops at 14 percent

Assembled the printer and followed all the first steps.  Set z Axis and printed the Nut test file that comes from prusa on the factory USB.  Printed perfect.  Downloaded firmware 4.3.4 and flashed the printer.  Did all my calibration again and calibration print worked perfect.  Started the Nut print again and printer gets to 14 percent and starts moving to y and z axis then stops in the same spot and doe not resume.  Tried to pause the print job at this point so i could try resuming it, and the system froze.  Had to power cycle.  powered up, ran calbration again, and it printed perfect.  Started the Nut file again and it stopped at the exact same place and parked at the same place 14 percent.  No clogged nozzle.  No visible signs of nozzle or filment issues.

Printing with PLA sample from prusa.  Sample is dry and fresh.

Any Ideas?  I tried to downgrade the firmware to 4.3.1 that was already on the USB key from factory, but it will not on reboot.  I checked menu and made sure firmware update was enabled as ALWAYS just to be sure.

Contact chat support. This seems like something best troubleshot in real time. You can even send them pictures of what is happening. They have solved the couple issues I've had. One was a corrupted USB drive, but the symptoms were different. You certainly could try a different USB stick.

Regards,

Mark

Thank you!  I'll try another USB stick and contact support if that fails.  I appreciate your quick response.  This is is a mind melt for me.  I'm an IT professional and this is a whole different beast.  It touches on the tech side, but the black box art knowledge aspect seems to be learned by experience only.

Problem Solved.  After trying another USB key I had the same results.  I had copied the Nut test file from the old key to the new one which made me realize the only possible cause giving its consistent failure at same point in print could be the gcode.  I found the original test file on printables and did text compare.  Somehow the USB gcode had been corrupted with garbage.  Screen shot.  Left is USB corrupted code.

excellent learning opportunity overall!
