Prusa Mini+ square and alignment problems

Hello everyone,

Few days ago I've received  my first Prusa printer, a pre-assembled Mini+. I didn't have any issues at first and so far i printed various objects with satisfaction. However, since I noticed that objects were printed in slightly different position than shown in Prusa slicer, I decided to print this alignment test (picture below).  These are the results, it seems that there is some kind of mis-alignment in the printer.  I am by no means an expert and any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, you may find the info below interesting.  My new Mini has XY skew, working to resolve that today with shims.

From what I can see on photo, there's no distortion.. the whole print is only slightly misplaced on print bed. If I would see that on my printer (I haven't tested), I wouldn't worry about that -as long print results are ok.

Just my opinion.

RE: Prusa Mini+ square and alignment problems

My understanding it is a known issue. I have the same with mine and researched a bit after getting it and there currently is no way in the configuration to skew it to true it for the grid in the slicer to match the grid in real life. In fact on some of the newer sheets like the satin sheet, there is no longer a grid printed on them, probably to end the complaints. As long as the skew isn't so bad that at max print volume you are printing off the edge of the sheet, then it's really not an issue.
