Mysterious underextrusion

Preset : 0.15 mm STRUCTURAL (0.4)

I encounter a weird underextrusion problem that I don't know how to troubleshoot. I did not change the preset for any of these.

I thought for sure it would be retraction settings, but the cylinders should be almost the same, no? Moreover, the problem is reproducible and the temperature tower is great to me, so I don't think the filament or a partial clog is to be suspected. Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Above the red line, two tiles printed side by side during the same print job. Same goes for below the line.

These two cylinders were printed about three inches apart from one another during the same print job.

No visible stringing because I blasted the tower with a mini heat gun I wanted to try out.

RE: Mysterious underextrusion

I have 3 prusa minis, and over time they all seem to suffer from the same print bed location under extrusion. typically showing up as gaps between perimeters where I can separate them with my fingernail or ugly seams like you have on your cylinders.

I found that using a high flow nozzle can help, and also increasing the flow factor to 100% instead of the default 95% (IDK why this is the default.) I've replaced the nozzle, extruder gear, performed countless cold pulls and reseating of the hot end PTFE tube. the last thing I'm gonna try is replacing the bowden tube itself as I'm thinking it maybe had gotten itself wider on the inside as it bends repeatedly, and so maybe it needs replacing. I'll report back once I get it in and swap it.
