Layer Shifting? Help..
Can you help me with what's causing that layer shifting in the boat hull? Chimney also has some shifts but its not across the entire layer, so I don't what's causing that too.
Printed on Prusa Mini+. Amazon Basics PLA. 210º hothend/60º bed. PrusaSlicer
Didn't do a temp tower yet, but I guess layer shifting has nothing to do with incorrect print temp.
Model is BEN the floating Benchmark.
Edited and stretched 20% in lenght and 20% width in Blender but I kept height, to make it float better, original center of gravity is a bit high and is difficult to float.
Then in PrusaSlicer I stretched to 150% in all directions and printed with 10 bottom layers (give wheight in bottom to add stability), 3 perimeters, 3 top layer, 10% infill.
Previously printed a Ben without editing dimensions, with Prusament Galaxy Black (210º/60º c), and had same layer shifting at same height.
But being black is dificult to see the layer shifting in photos.

Prusa has a knowledgebase article on this very topic. There are a host of issues that can cause minute, sub-mm variations in vertical surfaces. Do a quick search on the term "buldge" (yes, it's sill but it works) and you'll find related discussions. I posted a lengthy response to a similar query here recently. If you're sure it's not any of the hardware issues described in the knowledgebase article, that might help.

I don't have any advice.. just my observation
As you can see at slicing (by using vertical ruler), that "shift" occurs exactly at the point when first deck starts to print. In my eyes, that tells me, that the problem is not printer related (mechanical).
I would probably try to print with setting "Perimeters" (Vertical shells in Printer setting) to 3 -by hoping that "deck" structure would have less impact on outside wall (hull).
Maybe someone else will come with better idea.

Printed a temp tower and didn't have that buldge/layer shifting at same height, so it's not hardware related.
I still have a lot to read and learn about 3d printing.. 😏
