Extruder Clog first PTEG print

The filament stuck in the extruder after about 2 hours into my first PTEG print. To the point where I had to disassemble the extruder pulley and get the clog out. I hesitate to go at it again without addressing any underlying cause. Any suggestions on what might have caused this? Is this just a fluke or do I need to address something (heatcreap?) before proceeding with another PTEG print?

Factory assembled Mini+ only a few weeks old
PLA fine - have done numerous PLA prints without issue

for the first PTEG print, I set up a satin sheet profile and recalibrated first layer - had to go quite low on the offset, down to 1.95

printing with Prusament PTEG jet black

Probably nothing to do with the clogging, but 1.95 is too low. You should readjust the Pinda sensor so it winds up about 1.0 so there is some room to vary. That adjustment is described here:

For the clog, adjust the extruder idler screw as found here:

You can also do a cold pull. In step 7, it should be pretty easy to push. If not, it may be clogged.
