extruder blockage problem

Brand new (factory assembled) mini plus just received a few days ago. The first print was OK, but next several led to blockage of the filament extrusion. Seems to start out OK, but gradually the extrusion gets less and less and then quits altogether. Have to take apart the tubing and pull out distorted filament from above the nozzle. Ideas on what might be the cause? thank you.

RE: extruder blockage problem

You have a partial jam to your nozzle.  You need to do a cold pull.

@rjbram

Make sure your nozzle is not too close to the bed.  That will start a path to under-extrusion.
