Mechanical drawing to create CoreONE mods

Hi all,

Are there some mechanical drawings of the CoreONE frame available somewhere? I understand that this printer is not fully open source. But, even without going into too much details, some drawings of the outer panels (with the relative positions of each holes) would be a huge help in designing mods for the printer.

I couldn’t find that anywhere, does it exist? If not, would Prusa be open to releasing that?

In my case I’m mostly interested in the bottom side, but I guess that drawings for all sides would be helpful to someone.

Cheers,

Mathias

The only officially published models that I know about are for the two side panels: https://www.printables.com/model/1086498-side-panels-prusa-core-one

For the rest of the frame it's up to someone with time and measurement devices.

Following this thread - I'd love to replace my top panel with one cut from aluminum or steel - I'm in the process of printing spool rewinders for my MMU3 that will live on top of the Core ONE.  No need for a clear top any more, and much easier to mount to without worrying about cracking the plastic with every hole.

There is a top panel model here: https://www.printables.com/model/1283543-prusa-core-one-mmu3-install-and-mmu3-setup

That may be useful as a starting point.

Dancan13f's adapted model for the top cover (linked above) is the one I'm using.  He kindly provided a 3D version of the lid with cutout, which I converted to 2D (that PDF and a DXF) to give to my local plastics company to have a new cover cut.

I didn't previously have a need for a drawing of the complete uncut cover, but I've just put back the corner that Dancan13f cut out and saved it as a DXF and a PDF.  They're in the attached ZIP file.

Nice find - thank you!  My source (Send-Cut-Send) here in the US quotes ~$60 to cut me one out of 2mm flat steel.  Much cheaper if I wanted to order multiple.  Standing by for now...

This is the spool management solution I'm going with - https://www.printables.com/model/1376585-rewindr-setup-for-core-one
