Instead of COREBOXX or INBXX... how about PrusaExoskeletonBXX ?
I briefly looked at the different filament boxes on printables (e.g. COREBOXX, INBXX) and I'm kinda curious why "nobody" designed one around the "Prusa Exoskeleton" parts (together with some 2020 Alu extrusions)?
I mean as much as I like 3d printing, the multi-day prints that still end up looking similar-but-not-quite are leaving me wanting.
Why not picking up some combo of:
- https://www.prusa3d.com/product/rear-profile-long/
- https://www.prusa3d.com/product/rear-profile-short/
- https://www.prusa3d.com/product/front-left-profile/ + https://www.prusa3d.com/product/front-right-profile/
and giving it an internal "skeleton" out of 2020 Alu extrusions, and some custom PC panels?
I mean, I'm the prusa noob here... so, are there any obvious holes in this plan? (yeah, and don't say "cost", because filament + printing time + you babysitting the printer time amounts to more than what the profiles cost 😉 )

A plug for MiniTec here, because I really like their stuff and they have a warehouse near me. https://www.minitecframing.com/

In my case, I only need space for 4 spools so plan to build the INBXX single which will sit under the printer.

Hm, wonder if using all the "universal profile"s would actually get you the equivalent of INBXX single. 😉

Hello, Well as it so happens, I have been working on a design "Core One Cubed" which I used the profile pieces to produce an enclosure that sits atop the Core One and Core One L when I make some adjustments. I was planning on listing it for sale on Printables. It is a simple design with novel use of the profile piece to produce the cube and bracket. It prints easily with only 2 (yes 2!) files. One file is the enclosure and the second file is the bracket to assemble the cube. The novel part is that the additional bracket pieces can be snapped into the frame and combined with other designs I am currently working on to manage filament rolls and ptfe tubing for 1, for, or 8 rolls. I have been working on the design for over 6 weeks and I'm really excited to show it to everyone. I was planning on listing it in the store for a small fee but I have zero experience with that. What is others opinion on a reasonable amount to ask for the design?

Yes, It is all printed. I used one of the top profile pieces to base it on, and what you see is 8 of the frame parts, held together by 12 of the snap brackets (a total of 2 files). This is the prototype.
