Conversion for stand alone Buddy3D camera to Core One format?

Hello all,

I had previously seen a few models posted on Printables for a conversion kit for the Buddy3D camera stand alone to the Core One version, but all the links seem to have been pulled and are no longer available.  Has anyone heard any news officially or un-officially about a conversion kit/model for the Buddy3D cam?  The Core One version definitely has a 3D printed enclosure and from what I've seen discussed previously, the two different versions have identical internal components.  I'd really like to not have to re-purchase the same hardware again if I can avoid doing so.

Thanks!

I wouldn't say identical internal components since the product description for the stand-alone Buddy3D camera claims "Remote position adjustment using integrated motors will be available in future firmware updates". The Buddy3D camera for the CORE One doesn't have any pan/tilt functionality so there won't be any motors or driver boards. But the camera, illuminators, and µP are probably the same... I wonder if there is (or will be) a firmware difference once (if?) the pan/tilt functionality of the stand-alone is enabled...

I'd like to know this also. I'd prefer to not buy the same camera twice.
