RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

That´s a MK3 part so you need it mirrored. Yes my extruder is R4. I don´t have a newer revision to mirror. But it should work with the new one i made for you. And i think he printed that part in 0,3 layerheight

Yes my cover is also thin but i never get it to look like that. The only thing i had problem with before was that i have printed with high temperature for long time in a enclosure and my super pinda saged but that is on the counterpart(backside) of the heatbrake. That problem is solved on the hurricane. I mounted a long m3 skrew right on the side of the super pinda. I have seen some reinforcement in the plastic i think on some Bear extruder but that cover a lot more of the airflow.

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

cool stuff

so really in theory I could fit a mk3s bear exxa extruder, i would just need to mirror the parts so pinda in on the left side??

because this looks a much nicer cleaner setup to stock.

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

Not really. You may need to move the Super pinda a bit. I find that out than i mirrored the Hurricane to MK3 🙂 I have not made an effort to move offset or change the cadfile yet.

I belive what you see looks cleaner is the mount for the printfan. That was what Mk2 looked before. It´s not perfect for the airflow and i believe it´s a reason why Prusa change it.

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

ah ok thanks dude

well I'm going to print that updated r6 extruder cover bit anyway. rest of the parts I will just use yours 😍

then when you next upgrade your extruder etc i will just copy you again 🤣

sometimes i get carried away too quickly lol.

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

Wait alittle. R6. Are you shore that is gonna fit? I belive the R6 extruder is slightly shorter. not shore but i think so. If you mix revisions you might get you just new problems 🙂 Think of what pear.3d said before 🙂 I thinks it´s ok as long as you use the same axis. Like you use pear.3d Y-axis but my Z-axis but i think you get problems if you mix with parts in the same axis. Thanks for the nice words but i´m not shore if i gonna make a new extruder for a while. If i fix the power to the fan for the hotend i´m fine with the Hurricane 🙂 I may try the Dragon hotend bec. i think it´s a better hotend but otherwise no.

They are exactly the same dimension 🙂

RE:

Hey guys

So I think I like having my USB and "ON / OFF" switch on the side of my mini LCD house, Can you think of any good attachments for 2040 to have it at the front right like on the original mini? 😀

ps: my genuine Z motor and rod arrived from prusa today 😍

hi all

@pear3d.cd @tomson did you guys put the dust caps on the Z lead screws? like is on the mk3s, since they are now at the bottom after the bear upgrade?

Hi jmac. Have you seen the first page :). You know the creator of this 🙂 I believe that LCD is not floating on the side 🙂 Don´t be mad is was just a joke of the obvious 🙂

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 🤭

Found it and printed it 🤗 😊

My parts will hopefully arrive friday!!! With luck, if not then next week.

Can you give me some quick instructions please, what does the .ini file do and when do i need to use it, anything special for changing filament?

can i just use the mk3s+ extruder settings from prusa slicer as i will have a mk3s+ hotend and extruder?

just a little help for understanding with this final steps would be appreciated please

RE: Prusa Bear Mini Mk3s

Download the INI  https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/37939-prusa-mini-mk3s-bear-ultra-upgraded/files   start the slicer, click file/import/import config.

Don´t use any other custom settings. pear.3d has already done everything you need in this file. Once you have installed the INI file, you never have to do anything ever. You can follow all new versions of Slicer / Firmware from Prusa and install them as usual. That's what's so good about this. You do not break anything on the Buddy-board and can follow the development with the software as usual.

When it comes to load / unload filament. I never bothered to install anything for that feature but I guess you can install the included gcode for PLA. I only wait until 70% when the speed slows down to normal and feeds the filament. You have to purge a couple of times but it's ok for me because I'm used to it. That gcode did not exist when I started and I don´t use PLA so much anyway.

If you have more questions about start Gcode or any software you have to talk to the Master himself (pear.3d) 🙂
