OctoPrint with ESP-01 installed
Are there any problems with running OctoPrint on a pi while an esp-01 is installed on mini-plus. Just installed the esp-01 before realizing OctoPrint is available for the mini.

Honestly not sure, but likely no. The ethernet interface seems to cause no conflict with octoprint. Octoprint has been available for the mini for some time. I've probably been using it for over 2 years while waiting for Prusa to come out with the ability to print over the network either via ethernet or wifi. I tried putting an ESP in mine, went though probably 5-6 of them from different suppliers and can't find a single ESP that will take the firmware update and gave up on it. I'd honestly just stick with OctoPrint, it seems like the superior option.
From previous experience with the ESP controllers in other projects I know they can all come with different firmware preinstalled depending on who manufactured it or the supplier. Prusa's firmware updater for the ESP must be targeting a very specific factory firmware and fails to update anything else.
