Hi. I'm planning to put a touchscreen on my raspberry pi 3b+ octoprint with Prusa MK3S setup. If I put the Octoscreen/TouchUI/Octoscreen (any) UI plugin can I start a print on the touchscreen from the printer's sd card? Or I can only start from the raspberry's sd?

Yes, you can print from SD or local. You can also upload a G-Code to SD or local and start printing.

Thank you for the answer. If I print through Octodash but from the printer's sd card is the print quality is the same as when I start it from the original prusa screen? Because on some places I read the octoprint could affect the print quality. but I'm not sure if it's only happen if I print from the raspberry's sd or is it the same if I print from printer's sd but through octodash?

If the data transfer from the printserver to the printer is consistent, there should be no difference in quality between SD and Octoprint printing. Ideally you should deactivate serial logging in Octoprint, because this can lead to timeouts. This is only needed for error analysis.

Which can have an negative effect on the transfer speed:

- Many users install numerous Octoprint plugins and/or have not set up the system properly.

- Missing or incorrect system configurations

- It is also important that the voltage on the Rapberry is stable.

Try printing some small test pieces yourself and compare the results.
