Multi material add on?

So as most of us know, the MK3 has an amazing multi material attachment allowing you to print basically in full color. Has anyone tried using this on the MINI? How did you do it? And if not, has anyone seen any information on the release of such an attachment designed for the MINI?

The MMU2 isn't supported on the Mini, and I suspect they won't release anything for the mini, if nothing else it's a differentiator with the MK3. I'm sure I've seen someone say they have a Mosaic Pallette 2 working with the Mini, but it's not a cheap solution.

That's kind of a shame, I don't really need a MK3, but I sure would like a multi-material unit

The Palette is the more expensive solution but it has many advantages. Not the least of which is being able to move it from one printer to another. The big disadvantage (vs. the Prusa MMU) is only 4 colors. But for the Mini it is currently the only solution.

I got a Palette last month and so far I am very pleased with it. I haven't tried it with the Mini yet; my Mini just arrived and I want to get used to it before I try adding complications.

If you do decide to get a Palette I strongly advise getting a Canvas Hub to go with it. If you want to save some money on the Hub you can build one yourself; it's just an Octopi box with a Palette plugin.
