Mini+ Issues with Bed Leveling (Silicone Mod & E3D Revo Micro)
I bought a second hand Mini+ about a month ago to compliment my MK3S+ w/MMU3, I owned a Mini a few years ago but sold it. That one was essentially trouble-free during the years I owned it. This one however, has been challenging. I did the Silicone Mod, and recently due to issues with the PTFE tube, swapped in a E3D Revo Micro. It is on running the most recent firmware. I have gone through the "Squaring your Mini" guide and only had to slightly tweak the YZ and XZ axis. After installing the E3D Revo Micro, the Pinda level was adjusted, and Z Calibration completed.
I'm having the following issues:
1. During the MBL via Octoprint, I can't seem to get the adjustments stable. I'll make the adjustments, run the mesh again and the values will need to be drastically changed. I have the same mod on my MK3S+ and it's been problem free, the whole process was very easy. I've tried keeping the bed at a constant 60 degrees, and let it cool down between meshes. Both gave me the same results.
2. When doing the first layer calibration, I get sections where the filament doesn't stick and it seems to be pretty consistent event between my 2 sheets. Both sheets have been cleaned multiple times with hot water and regular Dawn dish soap. I even stuck a sheet on from my Ender 3 V2 and got similar results, so I think it's a hardware or software issue. I've watched the Z axis threaded rod and see no adjustment when doing the first layer. I even removed the Silicone Mod and got similar results (then put the mod back on).
Is it possible the MBL isn't updating correctly, or not being applied? My next step is a factory reset.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
