Mini enclosure - to protect printer and cat
I would like to build or buy an inexpensive mini enclosure that will protect the mini and a curious cat. I mostly use pla so I do not necessarily want it to retain heat. I may modify the prusa design with a Lack table, but may not use acrylic. Any suggestions?

If you do not like acrylic, you can close the side walls with wooden panels or similar.

I was thinking of using something like this Premium Pet Window Screen on the two sides that I think the curious cat would be likely to try to touch it on:

I am thinking of putting acrylic on a side or two if necessary or leave them open if the cat does not try to enter from those directions. Just wondering if others have ideas of what would be good. Hearing more about the m.i.n.d.a recently, I think I want to try to keep the temperature as even as possible on all of the head bed.

our cats dont seem bothered by the printer or the spool moving, i think the smell of the pla / petg puts them off, the only times i've had to shoo them away is when they try climbing behind the printer into a tiny gap, that said i do keep a close eye on them when printing petg due to the bed temp.

with the new SPINDA there should be no temperature problems. When printing PLA you should make sure that the temperature in the enclosure does not exceed 35 degrees C.

SCREEN is the way to go. I would consider acrylic or plexiglass if you may every print exotics.
