E3Dv6 conversion & Dual drive extruder

I was in the fence to try a few E3Dv6 conversion available to print but they all have an offset between 2.3mm and 3mm. This behavior requires to print a modded Z bottom and an offset MINDA holder. So, I was like: Let's give it a try! After a few prototypes, I am currently testing a beta version which so far is promising. The hotend and more specifically, the nozzle sits exactly at the same distance as the original one. Even better, I gained 2mm! lol. It is currently used in conjunction with a MK3S extruder alike (modded quite a bit). I get the same reliability and performance as her big brother printer. The E3Dv6 conversion looks like a tractor (I am not kidding lol) but who cares, it is a hotend that just works!!! Will post pictures as soon as beta is succesful!

This extruder deserves much more credit and attention.
I've running it for a week or so and it's been really reliable and quiet. (No more clicking extruder!)

This extruder should have been on stock Prusa Mini.

Thank you very much for your kind words! It has been flawless from day 1. I strongly recommend any Mini owners having extruder issues to not waste their money on a Bondtech extruder. In my case, time is money so spending time wrenching the Mini is also a waste of money. It doesn't worth it and in some cases, the same issues persist.

And it's also a nice project!

I was eyeballing the Bondtech extruder but stumbled on this project. So much more fun to print this and build your own printer.
Next to that, this looks like it is stock, looks so much better than the Bondtech. It just fits very well and people might think it came with the printer. (printing it now in Prusa Orange)

Did i mention the quiet ?
