Exactly, I see a ton of people complain about the price. I’m in SC, used to live in Amelia Island, Fl. Shipping to me is free free for almost a 2 or 3 day shipping. 
Everyone  else I hear is paying out their ass just in shipping. One guy in the UK was quoted at $50 for shipping so I see why they use clones unfortunately.

I have used one off and on for 6 months.  I swap it between my MK3s and my Mini clone.  It works well and seems to jam less.  

Which have you used, the Copperhead or the Dragonfly? I read your Dragon review, which has the same mount as the Dragonfly i think, so if the Dragon fits then maybe the Dragonfly would too.

Actually the Dragon high flow is the same price as a Dragonfly on Amazon right now, is there any downside to getting the high flow model if I don't currently need high flow capability?

You mean 20-30 USD for shipping (sometimes more), then additional 20% VAT calculated with shipping included, and maybe some customs fee when they feel like putting it into category in which you pay customs? 🙂  No wonder people resort to buying clones from Aliexpress or Amazon resellers, those packages come from China and look inocuous enough vast majority are considered under 20 or so dollars.

Don't those high-flow hotends require 50W heating element? I believe some of them do, you may want to check that as well.

Don't have a Mini, but before ripping apart my printer, I'd try swapping in a 3D Solex V6 nozzle and see if that resolves the problem. Unfortunately, their "matchless" design is only available in 0.4mm or larger, but that change alone allowed my Mk3 to push filament faster than the Prusa extruder can handle.

Good point, I hadn't considered that and have had a quick look. It seems that to get to really high temps for things like PEEK you might need a higher wattage heat cartridge, but then the Mini's heatbed doesn't go high enough for that so would be pointless. I think for PLA/PETG/ASA etc, the standard Mini cartridge would be fine. CWBullet mentions using a Dragon on his Mini and that he just used the standard cartridge and thermistor so I think it's ok.

This seems like a good idea so I've ordered the .4 and .8 nozzles.

I've run into problems on my mini with the solex nozzles, namely their thread is too short. It's impossible to get them tight to the heatbreak as is, and if I drop the heatbreak further into the heater block then the PTFE tube has too much room and can move within the heatsink.

Are you sure you got the V6 nozzles? Did you buy the 3D Solex "Prusa" set? I'm using them on my Mk3 with V6 heater block. My set matches the thread dimensions of the E3D nozzles, and the Mini is supposed to accept those.

No I didn't get the Prusa set, I got these https://www.3djake.uk/3d-solex/matchless-v3-nozzle which I now see are wrong. I thought "E3D hotend" meant V6, as opposed to the Raise3D nozzles they sell. Damn. I wonder if they are still in the returns window.

Not very precise, but overall length is roughly 12.61mm and thread base to top is 7.4mm. These are wobbly measurements holding the nozzle in my hand. The numbers I'm getting are all very close to the E3D V6 nozzle dimensions.

3D Solex sells them as "i3 Matchless" individually or as a "Prusa i3 nozzle speed doubler" set.

Thanks for that. The nozzles i have are 6.4mm, so a full mm too short. I have also only just noticed that the ones sold by 3DJake are for 2.85mm filament, so I *really* cocked this one up!

OK now I'm really confused, I contacted Solex and they say the I3 nozzle and V3 nozzle are identical.

I ordered the nozzles that explicitly says they're for the Prusa i3. One of the resellers I dealt with was also confused, so be sure you're asking for and getting exactly what you need. Mine look almost identical to an E3D nozzle from the hex up. They are a bit more conical below the hex, but dimensionally the same as E3D V6 nozzles.

I hope my suggestion hasn't been more of a headache than it's worth. I found the nozzles to be very worthwhile and a simple upgrade. I hope you get it straightened out.

Edit: Do keep in mind that the Matchless design uses 2 smaller channels to heat filament, so be wary of filled or sparkly filaments on the smaller nozzle.
